We attach great importance to perfectly organised events that will be remembered for a long time. That is why we are looking for an experienced reinforcement who, as Deputy Event Manager (m/f/d), will carefully plan, prepare and implement our events. In your role, you will be responsible for all aspects of planning various events, as well as selecting the event rooms, cost control, room equipment and other tasks.
Specifically, this means:
- You will be responsible for all aspects of event planning while adhering to strict time and budget constraints
- You will plan and assist with logistical aspects, including contract negotiations, guest lists, room design, trasport, equipment, security and much more
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers, event organisers and other industry contacts to plan and implement creative and logistical aspects of the event
- You are always up to date with the latest trends in event planning, design and organisation
- You standardise procedures and train your team accordingly
- Coordinating event-related requirements from employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, acting as a point of contact for managers, authorities and industry representatives
- Researching resources, visiting venues and leading meetings with your team are also part of your responsibilities
- Completed training in the hotel or event industry and relevant professional experience
- Proven success in event management or event coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in business relationship management
- Excellent organisational skills, including multitasking, time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in stressful situations and make quick decisions
