We are constantly developing the way our hotels are run and are implementing various measures and projects at our individual locations. The solutions we use depend on the specific circumstances and requirements at each site.
On the following pages, we provide information about selected measures and projects, as well as their respective scope of application.
The requirements facing businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors are changing. New European and national regulations relate, amongst other things, to the use of energy and resources, sustainability reporting, and the communication of environmental and sustainability claims.
DSR Hotel Holding is monitoring these developments and taking relevant requirements into account as it further develops its processes and projects.
GreenSign Hotel is a certification standard for accommodation providers. The standard is owned by GreenSign Standard GmbH. Certification is carried out by VERIS Certifications GmbH. As part of the certification process, the information and supporting documentation provided by the hotel in question are reviewed and verified during an on-site audit. Once the audit has been completed and a positive certification decision has been made, a GreenSign certificate is issued to the audited establishment. The GreenSign Catalogue Standard is recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) as a ‘GSTC-Recognised Standard’. The certification applies exclusively to the hotel establishment named in the certificate, as well as to the version of the standard and the period of validity specified therein.
This legal regulation obliges companies to take measures along their supply chains to prevent human rights violations and environmental damage. DSR Hotel Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries also endeavour to fulfil this obligation.
