As a hotel specialist (m/f/d), you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests during your three-year apprenticeship. Whether it’s reservations, reception or service, you’ll make sure that our guests always feel like they’re well looked after.
During your three-year apprenticeship to become a specialist in restaurants and event services (m/f/d), you’ll be a host and organisational hero at the same time. In our restaurants, you’ll become familiar with the classic art of service, support your colleagues in the kitchen and plan various events.
As a chef (m/f/d), our kitchen will be your workplace. During this three-year apprenticeship, you’ll become familiar with activities such as preparing meals, managing supplies and designing menus. Do you love cooking? Then take the chance to start indulging our guests with your creations.
During your two-year apprenticeship to become a restaurant professional, you’ll satisfy the desires of the guests at our restaurants. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks and also help out in the kitchen.
The two-year apprenticeship to become a kitchen professional is similar to the chef (m/f/d) apprenticeship. You’ll become familiar with preparing all manner of foods, managing supplies and designing menus. Everything is just streamlined a little bit so that you receive your qualification faster.
During your three-year apprenticeship to become a pool operations specialist, you’ll be the star of the pool. You’ll ensure that our guests in the swimming and sauna areas feel happy and content while also being responsible for their safety at the same time.
During the three-year beautician apprenticeship, you’ll be in very close contact with our guests. You’ll learn how to perform a skin analysis, advise guests on the right treatments and massages for them and do manicures and pedicures.
Things will get active during your three-year apprenticeship to become a sport and fitness service professional (m/f/d). You’ll be there on the training floor and looking after our guests. You’ll write up suitable training plans for them, hold fitness courses and also take care of administrative duties such as marketing activities.
During your 3-year apprenticeship as a florist things get creative. You plan and create plant and flower decorations for the respective season. You work in a team and are involved in sales campaigns in the external business. You are also responsible for caring for the plants and flowers throughout the resort.
During your 3-year training as an event manager (m/f/d), you will advise and look after organizers and guests. You are the first point of contact and therefore the calling card of our resort when it comes to booking, planning and coordinating events. You take on all administrative tasks related to an event or group booking, from preparing the offer to billing and arranging follow-up events.
During this 3-year apprenticeship at our headquarters in Hamburg, you will become a specialist (m/f/d) in customer contact in our reservations department. You are the first point of contact for our holiday guests and you look after and advise them by phone or email about their next holiday trip. You control and process bookings via reservation systems, OTAs and tour operators.
During the 3-year apprenticeship as an office management clerk at our headquarters in Hamburg, you will work in various specialist departments and gain in-depth knowledge in the areas of controlling, accounting, human resources, purchasing, assistance, PR and administration. You will also gain comprehensive insights into the corporate world of DSR Hotel Holding with its exciting hotel brands.
In just 33 months you have the opportunity to obtain three IHK degrees at the same time! You start your hotel management training directly in the 2nd year of your apprenticeship. In the third year of the ASTOR program you are already employed as a specialist in the company and complete your further training as a specialist in the hospitality industry as well as your trainer aptitude test. This program will not only make you an all-rounder in the operational side of a hotel business, but you will also acquire business knowledge for your professional career as a manager.
