The A-Rosa Lago di Garda Hotel, a 5-star resort owned by the German group DSR Holding and open for around 10 months a year, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to start in October 2026.

- A 12-month fixed-term employment contract, with the possibility of extension
- Salary commensurate with experience and skills, in accordance with the Confcommercio National Collective Labour Agreement for the Tourism Sector

- Accommodation at the Staff House in Salò (BS);
- Induction and initial training
Responsibility
The successful candidate will join our technical department, which currently comprises four professionals, and, reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, will be responsible for:
- Actively assisting with routine and non-routine maintenance of the guest rooms, communal areas and the spa
- Inspecting the electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, reporting any faults and carrying out the necessary work and repairs as agreed with the Maintenance Manager
- Ensuring the upkeep of premises, furnishings and equipment by carrying out painting and carpentry work
- Providing technical support in setting up meeting rooms and during events organised on-site
- Collaborate with external contractors.
Requirements
- At least 1 year’s proven experience in the role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Diploma or professional qualification as an electrician and/or plumber/heating engineer
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations; possession of valid fire safety and/or first aid training certificates is an advantage
- Good manual dexterity in the use of work equipment and tools
- Ability to quickly identify and report faults, and a proactive approach to resolving minor issues
- Problem-solving skills, precision, reliability and a team-oriented approach
- Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays
- Category B driving licence
