Your responsibilities:
- Providing specialist guidance and support to the technical management teams at the Süd Hotels under our supervision, and reporting on technical risks, costs, deadlines and outstanding actions to head office / the Technical Director
- Ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective technical building operations
- Monitoring of maintenance, inspections, expert assessments, operator obligations and technical documentation
- Drawing up and updating maintenance, investment and budget plans
- Technical and cost-effectiveness assessment of quotations and measures, as well as coordination of maintenance, refurbishment and optimisation measures
- Managing and supervising external specialist firms and facility management service providers
- Providing support in the event of malfunctions and incidents, and liaising regularly with hotel management
You will have:
- Completed technical training with further training leading to a master craftsman’s or technician’s qualification, a degree in a technical subject or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in technical building management, ideally in the hotel or property sector
- In-depth knowledge of building services engineering and the relevant operational, maintenance and inspection requirements
- Experience in leading technical teams, managing service providers and budget planning
- A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a sense of responsibility, strong communication skills and the ability to get things done
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAFM is an advantage
- Willingness to travel and a Class B driving licence
