Restaurant staff set and decorate tables, welcome guests, make recommendations on food and drink choices, and act as active salespeople. They also serve food and drinks, draw up bills and take payment. They are often involved in compiling and designing menus. In addition, they organise special occasions, events and banquets and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
