- Professional check in / check out and rooming of guests
- Looking after and advising our guests and being available to answer questions
- Accepting and processing room reservations
- Transferring telephone calls, taking and forwarding messages to other departments
- Responsibility for your own cash management, money exchange and accounting
- Sharing responsibility for the cleanliness of the workplace and lobby area
- Carrying out a detailed handover for the next shift
- Routine work at reception such as issuing keys, handling hotel safes, preparing group arrivals
- Completed training as a hotel specialist (m/f/d) or as a hotel clerk (m/f/d)
- Previous experience in a comparable position and/or several years of professional experience at a reception desk or reception area
- Interest in working in the reception area with a willingness for further training and education
- Friendly, open-minded personality
- Good language skills in German and English (other foreign languages an advantage)
- SIHOT knowledge an advantage
